UPDATE with QUESTIONS and TAGGED ARTISTS.
(it was getting so long i figured it needed its own entry)

Rules
1) You must post these rules!
2) Each person must post 10 things about themselves on their journal. (This rule is redundant -Phitus)[Agreed -docpye]
3) Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create 10 new questions for people you tag to answer.
4) You must find 10 people to tag and post their icons on your journal.
5) Go to their page and tell her/him they have been tagged.
6) No tag backs.
7) Do not say "you are tagged if you read this." You legitimately have to fucking tag 10 people.

Questions
A.) What do you consider your top priority training? Whether it's martial arts, animation, playing poker, video games, or whatever; what aspect of life are you dedicating yourself to improving at the moment? This isn't necessarily the thing you consider yourself best at or what you want to do for the rest of your life, just what you're working on with a majority emphasis.

B.) What are you goddamn proud of? A skill, an accomplishment, a piece of art; what is something you've achieved and aren't ashamed to admit? I'm assuming it took lots of work and dedication, otherwise I feel like you wouldn't feel so proud of it. Go ahead and toot your own horn here.

C.) What fires you up in a positive way? What gets you energized or inspired, ready for action and stoked to burn? It can be a theme, a soapbox issue, a certain song, a primal urge, whatever. I just wanna know what gets you passionate.

D.) What fires you up in a negative way? What infuriates you, gets you so angry you could scream (and maybe you do), makes you want to give up all of your values and morals just for a night so you can have the satisfaction of exacting righteous vengeance on a certain entity (be they human, metaphysical, or otherwise)?

E.) How do you normally channel that fury? Do you just sit on it until it passes, or do you fly into a painting frenzy? What do you do with all that energy?

F.) What are your companions/friends/comrades/mates like? What kind of people do you seek out and surround yourself with? I'm not talking about people you nod to in the hallway, or people you're "cool" with. I mean people you associate with on a constant basis, people you actively get up and expend energy to go out of the house to go and hang out with.

G.) Do you have a "One Thing"? It's kind of hard to define, but it's the One Thing that can set you off over the edge, not the same as the Anger Inducer of Question D, but more like a pet peeve only so much worse. For example, I have a friend for whom his one thing is Mustard. He can't look at it, he can smell it from a mile away, if you try and push him on it he will actually use physical violence. It's his "One Thing." Period. Note that I'm not actually asking you to explain it, just whether or not you have one. If it's sensitive, you don't have to go into any more detail than you're comfortable with.

H.) Okay, taking a break from the tough questions. What's a guilty pleasure of yours? Like a terrible movie that you unironically love, or a secret crush on a pop star from your childhood, the sort of stuff you don't tell your friends about and then get made fun of when they inevitably find it. Like Question G, no need for more detail than you're willing to give.

I.) What's a weird superstition you still cling to? One you know is kind of ridiculous, has no rational basis, but you still do it anyway out of either habit or fun.

J.) Do you have a mantra? A phrase or word that you constantly repeat to yourself, something that focuses you and reminds you of your goals. Something that (I assume) can sum up your stance on life and the challenges it presents us with everyday. You don't have to share it, but this is something I would definitely like to hear.

Aaaaaand, just as a show of good faith, I will answer my own questions as well.

Currently, it's my draftsmanship for storyboarding. This is what I want to do professionally, so I need to step up my drawing game if I want to make it in this world.

I have a damn good dramatic monologue that I use for auditions. I workshopped it for my Theater 11 class in college, and I think it's probably the best monologue I'll ever get the chance to read. It's a selection from Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman."

C.) What fires you up in a positive way? What gets you energized or inspired, ready for action and stoked to burn? It can be a theme, a soapbox issue, a certain song, a primal urge, whatever. I just wanna know what gets you passionate.
Right now it's Klaypex's song "Rain." www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zuAOo…
I wasn't that into dubstep before, but this song really changed that.

Stupid people. Really stupid, short-sighted, selfish people.

E.) How do you normally channel that fury? Do you just sit on it until it passes, or do you fly into a painting frenzy? What do you do with all that energy?
I try to meditate it away, lest I end up doing something I regret later in my rage. Otherwise, I rant it out, either in person to whoever is hanging around or online to whoever is hanging around.

I search for and am attracted to strong people, the kind of people who go out and seize what they want. People who are understanding and intelligent, people that both think AND do.

I don't really think I do, but the screechy sound that styrofoam makes when you rub it is like my kryptonite. even just thinking about it makes me wince.

The film version of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. It's stupid, empty, and altogether terrible compared to the graphic novel, but I love it all the same.

I.) What's a weird superstition you still cling to? One you know is kind of ridiculous, has no rational basis, but you still do it anyway out of either habit or fun.
I still hold my breath and make a wish every time I go through a tunnel. Every single time.

You've probably heard me say it before, but Everything is Training. No matter what you're working on, wasting your time with, or just trying out, everything can be training to improve yourself, whether physically, mentally, or emotionally. Kung Fu is in everything we do, and we should therefore never waste a single moment to better our position from the one just a few seconds before it. This is my belief, this is my philosophy.
